Nia volunteers because...
There is enough money and materialistic obsession in the world, but not enough equity. I have always loved volunteering. Just the simple act of being present, doing things for nothing in return but for the greater good. As I am approaching graduate school next fall (Masters in Counseling Psychology), I wanted to get more experience with nonprofits, as they have always been close to my heart. I have really been blessed to work with such an amazing team and be able to help with efforts toward suicide prevention, fostering the community, and spreading awareness.
