Ritika Jain has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and Bachelors in Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi, India. Her experience working in the hi-tech industry, including as a WIFI test engineer at Aruba Networks and in engineering intern positions at Qualcolmm, Broadcom and Bharat Heavy Electricals for the past three years, has taught her that marketing a new idea is as important as the technical development and research supporting it.
She is now taking a year off to pursue a Certificate of Marketing at the University of California, Berkeley and is collaborating with our CEO and graphic designer on strategic marketing initiatives and the design of marketing collateral for Hope Xchange.
Ritika volunteers because...
My experience working in the hi-tech industry for the past three years as an Electrical Engineer has taught me that marketing the idea is equally important as doing the technical research. This realization prompted me to take a year off and pursue a Certificate of Marketing at the University of California, Berkeley. And what better way to put education to use than helping society?
I'm so glad Hope Xchange has given me the opportunity to help the future of our society, particularly kids. I believe even a small contribution from each one of us can impact someone's life. I hope my background and skill set helps to promote this noble cause. And, I'm so glad to be a part of this team!
