Tiffany Magana is currently attending Loyola University Chicago pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
Tiffany knows how it feels to need a helping hand and the need to belong. She loves to help anyone in need and is and will be a lifetime volunteer!
During her off-time, she not only volunteers for Hope Xchange but also for Chicago HOPES for Children mentoring homeless children in an after-school literacy program and as receptionist and helper at Treehouse Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter for cats.
Tiffany volunteers because...
Giving back to others is what I want to do for the rest of my life. My path into psychiatry is amplified by these types of organizations. I identify as LGBTQIA and am diagnosed with depression and anxiety which help me understand what other people are going through.
Helping one person is great but having the ability to help hundreds is phenomenal. I want others to never believe that they are alone. This is why I joined Hope Xchange.
